Students from Forms 4, 5, and 6 travelled to Salamanca, Spain during the midterm break with Ms Waters and Chaplain Rothwell. They stayed with host families who provided not only authentic Spanish cuisine, but authentic experiences of daily family life in Spain. The pupils spent the mornings in classes and had activities such as Treasure Hunts, guided tours, tapas tasting, cookery class, and many more in the afternoons. Much time was spent tasting various Spanish delicacies, exploring the beautiful city of Salamanca and, of course, shopping for those all-important souvenirs (for themselves if nobody else!). A thoroughly enjoyable week was had by all and already plans are being made by some pupils to return to Salamanca – ¡olé!
