This week pupils from Wilson's put on a Nativity Play for the children of several primary schools in Mullingar. The play was performed in All Saints' Church in Mullingar. The cast and crew were made up of the Mullingar parishioners in the school and some of their friends from other parts of the country.
After a busy all-day rehearsal on Monday, the play was ready to go and was performed twice on Tuesday 19th, at 10am and again at 11:30. The story of the first Christmas came to life and the primary school children were particularly amused by the very excitable sheep during the shepherd scene!
The Wilson's students enjoyed great hospitality in the church. Our Chaplain, Miss Rothwell who directed the play, would like to thank Rev. Alastair and the church-wardens for their warm welcome and the great hospitality they showed to us, providing lunches and much needed refreshments between the shows.
