Form 6 Celebrations.
On Friday 16th May 2014 the Leaving Certificate Class of 2014 celebrated their special day. After classes ended, they attended a special service in the School Chapel to mark the end of their years in Wilson's Hospital School. They were joined by parents, friends and staff. The service was led by Chaplain Hazel Scully. Alan Stewart preached an interesting and thought provoking sermon.
After a photo shoot to capture all of the glamour, they then had a special meal in the dining room also attended by parents, friends and teachers. It was a lovely occasion. There were speeches from the head girl, Jennifer and the head boy, Patrick. The Chaplain Hazel Scully presented the pupils with cards to mark their time in Wilson's. Patrick and Jennifer made a special presentation to the Warden to mark his retirement. It was then his turn to speak to the Class of 2014 about the changes which lie ahead for them. The evening, which was most enjoyable, ended with Mrs Eager thanking everyone for attending the event, especially parents and friends who had travelled long distances and wishing the pupils best wishes in their exams and their futures.
