Chinese proficiency test in Mandarin language
Wilson's Hospital School has introduced Chinese Studies as part of the Transition Year programme. The course is taught by Miss D. Hy. Pupils study aspects of the language, customs and culture of this huge country. Congratulations to the following students that successfully passed the Youth Chinese Test (Level one), conducted at the U.C.D. Confucius Institute at the end of their course last year on Saturday 25th May 2013. The Youth Chinese Test is a standardised international Chinese proficiency test, directed at examining non-native primary and secondary school students as set by Hanban. The test comprises of two parts: Listening and Reading and a 60% mark is required to pass.
