Hockey

Hockey has been played in Wilson’s Hospital School for many years, with the pupils enjoying the benefits of exercise in the open air.   At present, there are 5 girls’ teams representing the school in the Meath and District League, ranging from Senior A to Minor B, our team for the first year pupils.  This competition culminates in a Finals Day, usually held in Dublin.  The Senior A team and Junior A team also take part in Leinster Cup competitions. On an individual level, the school is delighted to have Anna represent Connacht Under 18’s in the interprovincial series.

At present there are no boys teams playing competitively.  However, for more than 20 years, boys’ teams form Wilson’s have been entered in Leinster Leagues/Cups.
